    I'm trying to automate things with hotplug but can't figure out how to deal with it.

    I compiled the driver in kernel 2.6.10
    using ubuntu warty 4.10
    haven versatel as provider which is using dhcp, so no ppp needed.

    when i stick in the usbcable of my e-tech v2 modem it is detected and i get the following in /var/log/messages:

    May  9 13:24:06 localhost kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_ hcd and address 2
    May  9 13:24:09 localhost usb.agent[8574]:      cxacru: loaded successfully
    May  9 13:24:09 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver cxacru
    May  9 13:24:09 localhost kernel: cxacru 1-2:1.0: found firmware cxacru-fw.bin

    than i have to do following by hand and this is the process i want to automate

    modprobe br2684
    br2684ctl -c 0 -a 0.0.32 (this command in a separate terminal wich stays open, when i close this the connection is disconnected)
    dhclient nas0

    Thanks anyway for all the instructions in this forum wich helped me to connect by hand. Only the last step with wich i'm struggling.

      write a script in the hotplug/usb folder (I think) with the filename "cxacru". Then, when the driver is automatically loaded, hotplug runs the script.
