Hi Frank, There is an example available at www.fosstrak.org/fc/docs/user-captureapp.html. Please check our website for more documentation. Hi, I'm developing my own Adaptor for a Intermec IF61 controller. To do that I'm implementing the HardwareAbstraction interface. The adaptor i'm developing is almost finished but there is one last thing I want to implement, Asynchronous reading. I need to integrate my own trigger events into the accada design, but I don't realy know if the EventCycle support to be controlled by triggers. Regards |

Hi. I didn't do it myself but maybe you try the following (these are essentially modified steps from the EPCIS Project's User Guide): 1. Create an identical schema for an MSSQL database to that of MySQL (you can find it in the epcis_schema.sql file). 2. Create a database named epcis and a user epcis with a password epcis. 3. Grant SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE rights for the created user on the created db. 4. Install the schema and (optionally) demo data. 5. Instead of a MySQL find and copy into Tomcat's lib an MSSQL JDBC driver (from MS or some other provider). 6. In the Tomcat's configuration file for EPCIS ($TOMCAT_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/epcis-repository-<version>.xml) in the Resource section set the appropriate values for the driverClassName and url (both depend on the driver provider). If I have time I will try the steps myself and will report if succeeded. Hope it helps. Hi Stephen, Stephen Tan wrote: > Can Fosstrak EPCIS be use in both academic school & corporation company? Fosstrak's license (LGPL) allows you to use the software both in an academic and corporate environment. See www.fosstrak.org/license.html for details. Christof |
