Is the OMF source code available somewhere. I would like to have it for linux.

The source code corresponding to the OMF toolkit binary libraries in is not available to the best of my knowledge.  The binary toolkit ( was contributed by Avid with binaries built for Win32 and IRIX platforms.  You could try asking Avid whether they wish to provide the source code to you, since it was released on the Internet for a period in the past.

What do you wish to do?  Do you wish to have a Linux version of the AafOmf conversion utility?

Actually, I have a version of the OMFKIT version 2.2 but there is no way to know if it is the latest version of the toolkit and the linux build is failing most of the unittest provided so it doesn't look good.

I didn't find anything on it so I guess contacting avid is the best thing to do.

        Hi Eric,

I think v2.2 was the final version of the OMF toolkit.
