I have tested changing MobSlot::SlotID to UInt32 (from Int32) on a local copy of the SDK, as follows. The starting point was the current tip revision of the main trunk.
Updated the v101 DictP18-277-1847BMaster.xls to change MobSlot::SlotID to UInt32
Regenerated AAFMetaDictionary.h, and rebuilt SDK
Ran module tests for modified SDK, and unmodified SDK - OK
Ran module tests in read mode (ComModAAF -r) between unmodified and modified toolkit (i.e. old toolkit and new files; new toolkit and old files) - OK
Checked Avid XDV import of eli2aaf output continues to work - OK
I propose to check this in on Thursday 12th Feb to the main trunk, for inclusion in the revised _v1.0.1_ release and beyond. This change is assumed to have taken place in the now-adopted v1.0.1 specification.
Please let me have any comments on this course of action before Thursday.
Thanks,
Phil
