Tinycast is a lightweight native macOS launcher that combines application search, hotkeys, clipboard history, utilities, and automation in one palette. It is written with SwiftUI and AppKit and avoids Electron, telemetry, and third-party runtime dependencies. The app can fuzzy-search installed applications, launch or quit them, and assign global shortcuts to frequently used tools. Spotlight-backed file search provides quick access to chosen folders without maintaining another file index. Its clipboard manager stores searchable text and images and can paste previous items back into the active application. Built-in utilities include calculations, currency conversions, quick links, AI-assisted text actions, snippets, notes, and window controls. Tinycast can also run compatible Raycast extensions while rendering their interfaces as native SwiftUI.
