Sprite Cow

Sprite Cow is a browser-based utility for extracting CSS coordinates and dimensions from image sprite sheets. Users load a sprite sheet and identify an individual sprite instead of manually measuring its position in an image editor. The tool generates copyable CSS containing background-position, width, and height values. It was created for developers who prefer manually optimized sprite sheets but want to avoid repetitive coordinate calculations. Additional options include percentage-based positioning and 50 percent sprite scaling for high-density displays. It also supports image reloading, configurable CSS paths, drag-and-drop filename detection, and offline use through application caching.
