  • the image given is not "in the download" or necessarily findable online (is supposedly from game but not listed on pygames today or website is 404). Also both python and pygames "continually mutate and abandon" (and py has security issues) so that old code becomes dead unless sysadmin installs exact correct lib verions of old libs with fingers crossed. it should be cool but ends up not being so much. The only (2) cool RPG "that might be a mini-jrpg beginning" on pygames requires python-2, but only python-3 is posted in downloads. bad support chain. also "need for pre-packaged linkage to SDL" is wholey unlikely as packaged "for any nix" ti probably only works win32 or ubu. (SDL 1.2.3 or SDL 1.2.3_b huge difference one is hack rel by ubu) - also SDL-1.2 required separate modules dl/install and those could be mix-matched each a different version module - making hitting the target of "end user and end developer support" near impossible. it's obvious they are FISCHING for games which they will rob and abandon but release on steam as "privately owned". fooling end developers.
  • extremely easy to use and powerful. and most importantly its in python
  • Nice library for rapid development of small old-school games
  • used this for class to make python games and learned a lot with it. Simple but useful
