Pi Web Access is a Pi extension for web search, page extraction, repository inspection, PDFs, and video understanding. It supports numerous search providers, including OpenAI, Exa, Brave, Tavily, Kagi, Perplexity, Gemini, SearXNG, and several other commercial or self-hosted services. Provider fallback chains can automatically move between available services when a search method fails or is unavailable. Its content tool extracts readable pages, raw responses, images, PDFs, GitHub repositories, pull requests, issues, YouTube videos, and local recordings. GitHub repositories can be cloned locally so Pi can inspect real source files instead of relying on rendered pages. Video support includes transcripts, visual descriptions, timestamped frame extraction, and questions about on-screen content, while evidence tools help collect passages for manual claim verification.
