OpenStock is an open-source stock market application designed as a free alternative to commercial market-analysis platforms. It provides stock search, watchlists, company details, charts, financial information, market overviews, and news. Finnhub supplies symbols, company profiles, and market data, while TradingView widgets provide charts, heatmaps, technical views, and quotes. Users can create accounts, save personalized watchlists, and complete onboarding based on goals, risk tolerance, country, and preferred industries. Optional sentiment views combine signals from news, Reddit, X, and Polymarket. Inngest powers scheduled workflows and optional Gemini-generated email content. The application is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, Tailwind CSS, and Better Auth.
