OpenHV is a free, open-source science-fiction real-time strategy game built on the OpenRA engine. Inspired by Daniel Cook's Hard Vacuum artwork, it features pixel-art environments and futuristic corporate warfare. Players command military units, establish bases, gather resources, and compete for battlefield control. The game supports multiplayer matches over local networks and the internet. It also includes computer-controlled opponents for single-player skirmishes. Spectators can observe matches, and players can share replays for later review. An integrated map editor allows users to design custom battlefields. Developers can modify game rules through MiniYAML and create scripted missions using Lua. OpenHV provides an independently developed strategy experience with openly available game content.
