OpenGeni is an open-source, self-hostable runtime for operating long-running AI agents inside organizations. It provides durable sessions that can be observed, interrupted, resumed, and replayed through a session-based API. Every agent event is stored in PostgreSQL, creating a persistent history for audits and recovery. Human approvals and structured input can pause specific tool calls and later resume them from the same state. Sessions can run inside managed sandboxes or directly on enrolled laptops, servers, and GPU machines without requiring inbound network exposure. OpenGeni also manages agent knowledge, searchable documents, credentials, repositories, goals, and working files under workspace-level access controls. It is designed as infrastructure beneath agents rather than as a single predefined assistant.
