MiniMax Code

MiniMax Code is an open-source terminal coding agent that can inspect projects, modify files, run commands, and verify changes without leaving the command line. It can authenticate with MiniMax accounts or connect to custom OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible model providers. A terminal UI supports interactive coding sessions, while a headless mode enables scripted and automated workflows. Built-in capabilities include search, multimodal tools, MCP integrations, managed connectors, and configurable execution permissions. Sessions can be resumed, tasks can be planned, and work can be delegated to subagents. Plugins and built-in skills extend the agent with additional workflows and specialized behavior. ACP support also allows compatible editors and external clients to connect to the coding agent.
