Intelligent Terminal is a free, open-source Windows Terminal fork that integrates AI coding agents directly into the command-line environment. It preserves familiar terminal features such as tabs, profiles, themes, and keyboard shortcuts. A docked agent pane provides contextual assistance using output from PowerShell, Bash, and WSL sessions. Users can connect GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, Gemini, and other compatible agents. The software detects command failures and can request AI-generated troubleshooting suggestions. Proposed commands require user approval before execution. Its agent management interface tracks active sessions, task states, and token consumption. Intelligent Terminal also supports custom model providers and dedicated agent profiles. It requires Windows 10 version 2004 or newer.
