Initializr Template is the generated starter page that served as a base layout for projects created with Initializr. It provides a structured HTML5 document with header, navigation, article, sidebar, sections, and footer areas ready for customization. The template includes responsive viewport configuration and a separate stylesheet for page presentation. Modernizr is loaded early to support feature detection and compatibility techniques used by contemporary browsers of its era. Conditional HTML classes provide special handling for older versions of Internet Explorer. Placeholder content demonstrates the intended semantic hierarchy before developers replace it with their own material. The project is intentionally lightweight and consists primarily of HTML, CSS, and supporting JavaScript assets.
