GroundControl is an Objective-C library for remotely configuring iOS applications without shipping new executable code. It extends NSUserDefaults with methods that download settings from a remote property-list file. Developers can use those values for feature flags, A/B tests, pricing changes, notices, and other adjustable behavior. Requests run asynchronously through AFNetworking and can report success or failure through blocks. The remote file may be static or generated dynamically by a backend written in Ruby, Python, Node.js, or another language. Custom NSURLRequest objects allow alternate HTTP methods and request headers. The project is MIT-licensed, archived, and no longer maintained, so modern teams should evaluate compatibility before adoption.
