FZip is an ActionScript 3 class library that allows developers to load, create, and modify ZIP archive files from AS3; it supports reading existing ZIPs, writing new ones (including adding/removing files), decompressing and compressing entries, and generally working with standard ZIP formats entirely in AS3.

Features

Load and parse existing ZIP archives, reading entries and their metadata (name, compressed size, etc.)
Create new ZIP archives from scratch, allowing addition of files programmatically
Modify existing entries: remove or update files in a ZIP archive
Support for compression and decompression of entries (handling compressed data streams)
Pure AS3 implementation (no external native code required), so it works wherever AS3 is supported
