Duct is a highly modular, server-side application framework for Clojure built around a data-driven architecture. It organizes systems using immutable configuration, enabling clean assembly of components and streamlined development with backward compatibility via Integrant foundations. As with all Leiningen templates, Duct will create a new directory with the same name as your project. For information on how to run and build your project, refer to the project's README.md file. The structure of the application is defined by an Integrant configuration map. Namespaces should group functions by purpose, rather than by layer.
Features
- Immutable, declarative configuration defines application structure
- Modular system with reusable components (e.g. web handlers, DB, etc.)
- Supports lifecycle management and runtime merging using Integrant concepts
- Tooling for scaffolded project creation (Lein template, duct.main alias)
- Flexible module options: +site, +cljs, +postgres, +heroku, +example, etc.
- Encourages composability, testing, and clean separation in applications
