Dracnmap is a Bash-based interface that organizes Nmap capabilities into guided menus for authorized network security assessment. It was created to make Nmap’s large collection of options and scripting features easier for less experienced users to navigate. The tool groups common scanning, information-gathering, enumeration, and Nmap Scripting Engine tasks behind interactive prompts. It can generate scan results in formats such as XML, HTML, normal text, and grep-friendly output. The project targets Linux security distributions and requires Nmap along with a graphical terminal environment. Its scripts expose both routine discovery functions and more intrusive security-testing modules. Because some options can affect remote systems or authentication services, it should only be used on networks and hosts the tester is authorized to assess.
