BeamNG.Earth is an open-source modification for BeamNG.drive that recreates the entire planet as a continuously streamed driving environment at a 1:1 scale. It uses real elevation data, satellite imagery, and geographic information to generate recognizable landscapes. The simulation includes Earth's curvature, realistic horizons, and terrain detail that changes with viewing distance. Roads, buildings, bridges, forests, waterways, and infrastructure are generated from geographic datasets. Regional vegetation, ground materials, lighting, and environmental sounds increase immersion. A companion server streams terrain and world information as players explore different locations. The project also includes BeamMP multiplayer integration and geographic navigation tools. It remains in beta development and requires a compatible BeamNG.drive installation.
