Annotated Redis Source is a Chinese-commented edition of the Redis 2.6 source code created for developers studying its internal design. It preserves the original implementation while adding detailed explanations throughout the C code. Nearly all standalone Redis modules are annotated, with Sentinel, replication, clustering, and a few utility modules left largely untouched. The repository covers core data structures, commands, networking, persistence, events, and server behavior. Only whitespace, indentation, and similar formatting were changed outside the comments. It was created as a companion project to the first edition of Redis Design and Implementation. The repository remains especially useful for learning Redis internals through real production code.
