Ambient Music Mod

Ambient Music Mod is a free, open-source Android application that brings Google Pixel's Now Playing music recognition functionality to other Android devices. It automatically identifies nearby songs using Google's recognition technology and downloadable music databases. Users can configure recognition intervals to balance detection frequency with battery consumption. The software maintains a searchable history of identified tracks and supports favorites and listening summaries. Manual recognition can be triggered through the application or a home screen widget. On compatible devices, an on-demand recognition feature identifies songs outside the local database using a Google Assistant-backed service. Recognized tracks can appear on the lock screen through an accessibility service. The application requires Android 9 or later and uses Shizuku or Sui for system integration.
