Album is a Material Design media picker, camera, and gallery library for Android applications. It can select images, videos, or mixed media through single-choice and multiple-choice workflows. Developers can place a camera option in the album list or launch dedicated flows for taking photos and recording videos. Selection rules can limit file size, MIME type, video duration, item count, and recording quality. The gallery previews media, optionally allows selection, and exposes click and long-press callbacks. A configurable Widget API controls titles, status bars, toolbars, navigation colors, selectors, and empty-state buttons. Thumbnail loading is supplied through an AlbumLoader implementation, allowing applications to integrate libraries such as Glide.
