I have no  idea how to fix this issue.  I have no issues printing within other apps but printing in Notepad++ is an automatic paper jam.

To clarify - I can print to pdf in notepad++.  And if I print that pdf page, it prints with no problems to my printer.  Same page automatically jams my printer.  Doesn't matter what is on the page.  It could just be one word and it'll jam up

      What printer do you use?
How is it connected to the computer?
Have you tired printing to a pdf or postscript file? (with an app such as http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/\)

      Let us know.

      thanks,

      joce.

I'm able to print to pdf.

Printer connected to PC through USB.  Printer model is HP Photosmart C7280

Also tried turning off the header and that still doesn't help.

Anything that looks suspicious in the PDF?
    Can you share your file?

I have the same problem. My setup:

    Notepad++ on Windows 7
Printer connected to Win Xp on a network

When I print from Notepad++ first nothing happens…
After 10-30 Seconds the page starts to print for a few seconds
The printing stops and the page comes out, usually just quarter or half printed.

Sometimes it does print all, but stops a few times, so an A4 page with text can take 1-2 Minutes.

I have a similar problem as well. I have to print to PDF first and then send the PDF to my printer as a work around.

Dont feel bad. I have a brand new machine I built, nothing else does this at all. Windows 7, HP C7280 printer. Open notepad++ type the word TEST and print and it will jam the printer every time. its the weirdest issue I have ever seen. If there is anything I can do to help debug this, let me know.

Pretty much the same here trying to print to an HP Officejet 7310 with latest HP drivers from Win 7 Ultra. I have had this problem with the otherwise superb NP++ for two years. It is a pain to copy what I want to print back to Win7's Notepad to print it. I can't believe there is no fix offered for this!
