Is there one out there?
I am using Notepad 3.4, and I understand that some of the newer versions can submit directly to W3C for validation However I am more interested in an on board Validation plug in. Is this a possibility?
I have been caught several times with no internet access and going back to fix an error 10 pages back and finding that it's cascading...Let's just say I would like to catch things a bit sooner...

Thank you.
I think that will help.
It looks like an XHTML validation tool would be a good project. I wish I had the time, if I did I would start on this right now....

Does any one know what versions that XMLTools.dll is compatible with?
I have an older version Notepad++ 3.4 and its not compatible..
Is there a stable, bug free, compatible release of Notepad++ for use with this plugin?
Thanks

Did you try the XML Tools plugin? It may not validate CSS (not tested), but it will at least help with the HTML.

I have not tried that yet. Do you have a link?
Thanks

All the plugins are listed on the wiki:

If you have trouble installing XML Tools, try the plugin manager, which will install it for you.
