The auto switching is the standard behaviour of the stock Windows Tab control. OTOH I don't know how I'd disable auto promotion of active tab, and I have maintained a Windows GUI library for years.
Granted, one could create a user defined control. Doing that just for optional auto promotion of line with current tab, plus the left arrow in single line mode.... This is too steep a price to pay for this little, I think.
btw perhaps do you prefer turning the Multilines tab bar option off?

Hello,
Is it possible to enable auto-switching the "tab-lines" (when multi-line), when you are moving a tab or cliking on one of them?
Because it can really be boring, the tab-lines are auto-moving and it is hard to deplace my selected tab where I want...
Sorry for my bad english but I hope you understand my problem ^^
Is it possible to disable auto-switching *
PS: I dont want to disable drag 'n drop because it is very useful but auto-switching...
