Mylyn Automatic Context Sensing

I've the latest pydev, extensions, and mylyn integration, as well as mylyn. Mylyn active tasks seem operational and active context sensing tracks in the explorer view what files I open. But unlike the screenshots for Java I see in the Mylyn tutorials pydev does not seem to be tracking objects or functions within files. That is, within the explorer window it tracks files but nothing else. I tried opening the outline view but that didn't help. I also tried navigating to classes and functions from within the explorer view. What am I missing? The utility of mylyn in pydev is going to be pretty limited if I can only track files as context.

I did some more digging and it look like this is in fact as far as the integration has gone ('resources'). I would really like to have a full version of mylyn that integrates objects and functions. Are there plans for this feature??? An ETA? Also please confirm I am right it does not due these latter components yet

I believe this has already been reported... Right now, there are no plans to add that feature, but if there's enough interest, that could be added...
