When you select the "File > Open All Recent Files" option, the order of the tabs will in the reverse order of their last opened state. I work around this by opening NPP, selecting the aforementioned command, select "File > Close All", and then reselect the offending command. This is fine, I guess, but certainly an unexpected UI behaviour.
Anyway, it's certainly easier to complain and find fault, but I like NPP enough to use it as a primary text and programming interface in both Windows and Linux (with WINE) environments (vi for shell-only, though). I personally couldn't do a better job in a reasonable amount of time. The program is well designed considering that all the simplicities and complexities being well married. Kudos!
