In a new document, enter "license.txt".
Select that and press Alt-F6. As expected, <N++>\license.txt opens in a new instance.
Close that instance. The file name is still selected in the first instance. Press Alt-F5. Ding! and Notepad++ shuts down.
Using Run -> open file has the same effect.
Crash takes place both with 5.3.1 and 5.4RC unicode.

I just tried to do it again, and now Alt-F5 works. A problem with overwriting 5.3 files with 5.4's?
So if it happens to someone else, it could be a file mismatch. Theonly action I took was to delete the .dmp file.
