I saw in the Suggested Features that this was requested; a Priority 1 for a while then closed. Was it implemented? If so how do I use it.
PS: I am new to NotePad++ and really like what I see. It seems it's about time for me to move up from TextPad. But I find it mysterious, that there is no Search function in either the .chm Help file or in the Forums; and the Wiki is not very populated. Am I overlooking something?

1/ The .chm file was made by an advanced user (Barry I think) and indeed has no index. That would be a nice enhancement.
2/ There is a forum search function. It is the last item of the Forum menu in the banner of this page you are viewing.
3/ The Wiki is not very populated, and it is a case of critical mass. As too few contribute, there may not be enough information to attract people that might contribute. We are trying to revamp it at https://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/notepad-plus/index.php?title=Main_Page This is work in progress, and currently only duplicates the current Wiki content. Proofreaders are welcome, as there are probably instances of mangled formatting or outdated contents.
4/ Did you try the "Notepad++ home" link on the ? menu in N++? It has an FAQ link which is different from the wiki and holds useful information. This area hasn't been duplicated into the new Wiki (yet).

A couple things...
