When I upgraded to 5.3.1 it said compare was now imcompatible.  Is that for real?  or is it just a glitch in the install?

It is not a heavily used plugin, but it does come in handy from time to time.

I already reported this issue when installng earlier versions of N++.

Try renaming the supposedly offending dll (I usually remove the last 'l') and proceed. When you are about to launch N++, rename the dll's back.

If, like me, you get complaints for totally valid plugins, then N++ will open and everything works as advertised.

If you do have an ANSI plugin, which is not Unicode compatible, or the other way round, then something will give and you'll have to scour the Plugin Developlent forum for an (un)official compatiblle version.
