    Hi,

Let me explain my issue with an example. If I have http://www.hotmail.com, then when I hover my mouse on this text, it changes colour and doubleclicking it, it opens up hotmail website. However if I have a website:

    http://www.frontiernet.net/~imaging/play_a_piano.html

Neither is there an underline nor does the text turn blue when I hover over it. In other words clicking on it doesn't open the website. If you cut and paste this in IE or Firefox then you can see that the page does exist. It appears that Notepad++ doesn't recognise tilda (~).

Is there a way around this or am I missing something?

    Also is it possible:
    a) To have the hyperlink on www.hotmail.com and not just http://www.hotmail.com (as in the case with Metapad)
    b) Option to have the hyperlink colour to be blue so that when opening a 'readme.txt' file, the hyperlinks stand out (as in the case with Metapad).

Many thanks for this wonderful program!.

    Cheers!

Just like to clarify on one of the questions raised above; namely (a)

Reason is that after posting my request, I noticed that my www was replaced with http://www, so I will make another attempt:

Can hyperlinks be enabled on (please ignore the 'underscore') _www.hotmail.com and not just hyperlink enabled on http://www.hotmail.com

Update: I also noticed that if the url contains https (eg https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7159361\), this url is not clickable in Notepad++

      I am using version 5.3.1.

      Cheers!
