I just tried Notepad++ because I need a good editor capable of converting from/into different charsets like UTF-8. It's a fine editor, I like the possibilites.
Back to my problem: I set up my favorite editing font (Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, 10pt), but it is displayed with a greater line spacing than in most other editing software
Using font size of "10" the characters have a maximum font height of 12 pixels. Between every line there is normally a line spacing of 3 pixels. But in Notepad++ there is 7 pixels line spacing.
I checked SciTE, it's 4 pixels there, and it seems not to be configurable. But as both tools use Scintilla, there has to be a possibility to configure. Can you tell me where?
Thanks for help and advice,
Rainer
