as KDE 4.1 is now also available for Windows, I asked myself whether it's possible to compile rkward for win32.
I'm not a developer nor do I know what it takes to produce a fully working port but as many kde-applications are already ported to windows I'd like to know when we can expect to use rkward on the windows plattform.
Any thoughts and ideas?
Thanks in advance

That would be lovely!
(for all our students in our university, which are still using Windows in their computer rooms in all the campuses... whereas they are taught to use R in many university degrees... )
Very good idea.

Yes, that would be lovely, and eventually it will happen. However, this will take quite some effort, and the developers can only devote a limited amount of time to the project. At the moment, we have not even started working on a windows port.
I see you're actively coding in a number of projects. If you would like to get involved, we could certainly need more hands in all areas, here at RKWard. Contact us on rkward-devel AT lists.sourceforge.net, if you like.
