In this 5.2 version, hotkey Alt-L has double definition. Besides the old function which it had (open Language menu), it now also means "compare to last save".
As I have used the old feature quite much (Alt-L+C+Enter to change language highlight to C), it now bothers me that this compare hotkey overrides this (when I press Alt-L it does "compare to last save" instead of opening language menu).

I have found workaround for this: delete file "ComparePlugin.dll" in plugins subdirectory of NPP's installation directory.

I think this was discussed before but I can't find the thread, but you can disable the Alt+L key combo for "Comparing tto last save" through
Settings-Shortcut Mapper-Plugin Commands.
