jython 2.5b1 Froze eclipse on autocomplete

There's a bug (that's been fixed in the latest svn) that is related to a halting condition in the code-completion.

It should be released in 2-3 days...

Jython still not working on Pydev 1.4.2

When i tried to import and tried auto complete it just freeze eclipse.

jython version is 2.5b1 , is that working for you ? Only me having that problem?

Also When creating new project , it no longer ask "Grammer Version , with a list box (which have python 2.5,2.6,3.0) , but old syle 2.4 , 2.5 , jython 2.1.

is that intended change?

I have removed all old versions of pydev and now the problem of showing old pydev project creation is fixed

But Still , On jython , auto completion freezes , I changed "connect to shell" second to 20s , that fixed me from freezing BUT returns no AutoCompletion / context assist result ..

I tried to go to console but :

Both Python and Jython consoles not working ...........

Fromm the error it seems that The completion shell cannot startserver cannot start and the completor tries to connect it....

It fails when it try to start completionserver by doing :

BUT i tried to start by calling this :
v3ss@v3ssBox-2 /opt/eclipseapt/plugins/org.python.pydev_1.4.2/PySrc $ /opt/jython2.5b1/jython pycompletionserver.py 36935 34198
jycompletionserver will start
jycompletionserver creating socket
jycompletionserver waiting for connection
                                                       

And works fine .. Why ?

Now it worked! i installed Jython as Standalone Jar file.and it worked!!!

But as i install Jython as standalone Jar,. Site Packages will not work ? How can i make use of site-packages? I tried easy_install and it saids pkg_resource dose not exist..

I think it will be good if pydev call directly the shell /bat file provied on Jython2.5b1 standard installation  , it runs pycompletionserver.py .

I was wrong , on above messaged , i installed Jython2.5b0 instead of b1 and it worked ..

when i tried again with 2.5b1 still not working..

So thats it? Pydev support up to 2.5b0...
