pylint does not apparently work, giving the error message below
this is
pydev 1.3.24
eclipse 3.4.1
pylint 0.14.0
ubuntu 8.10
Pylint: Executing command line:' /home/dave --include-ids=y /home/dave/workspace/FirstGUI/src/FirstMain.py 'Pylint: The stdout of the command line is: Pylint: The stderr of the command line is: /usr/bin/python2.5: '/home/dave' is a directory, cannot continue

This was caused because the PyLint command line changed. Please keep to a logilab-commons version 0.35 until that's sorted out (either PyLint needs to add a way to keep that compatibility or Pydev needs to update to the new API -- with the note that on the 2nd choice, any user that wants to update PyLint also needs to update Pydev).
I've already contacted the PyLint developers regarding that and I'm waiting for an answer on that on the upcoming week.
Cheers,
Fabio
