I'd like to request a new feature for the Find In Files results window. Can the results have syntax highlighting applied to them? This would be the same highlighting scheme that is appropriate the file type the result is for. Additionally, can the highlighting scheme be somehow amended for the search phrase itself?

I agree that this would be a really nice feature, that I've often found myself wanting (it should copy/paste the line As Highlighted in the file to the results pane, then use the Mark style to mark the find strings)

I suppose sytax highlighting would be a help if that's what you need to see. For my use, it would be a great advantage if the search string were highlighted in the results window. This would make it much easier to find certain strings in the stream of text that appears in this window, since it's not just the search string that appears, it's all of every line.
Not that I'm complaining about that, mind you. But often I am looking for a short string in a long line of text, and it isn't always easy to spot. I know that I can double click on a results line and it will take me to that spot in the corresponding file. But sometimes I'm checking several hundred occurances in sixty or seventy files, which would make for a lot of clicking and moving. Having the search string highlighted would be a real help.
