I have a custom user defined style that I use. The file type is just a .txt file (in Windows). My problem is that Notepad++ stupidly overrides my user defined style selection and sets the view back to plain text every time I save. It's ridiculously annoying and only happens on a new installation of Notepad++. My old computer works the way I want it to (ie, the program not assuming it knows what I want and overriding my input).
Any advice on how to avoid this problem?
I would search the forum, but I see no search button. Google searching with "site:" is a lame hack and doesn't give enough control to yield good results anyway.
Thanks for the help!
