Une thing that I miss quite often is to be able to make the Find and Replace dialog dockable. This would be really useful since you'd be able to keep the search dialog "open" all the time.
Also, I miss an easy way to search the previous as well as the next time that some text appears. Currently you can only "Find Next" and if you want to search backwards (to search the previous) you need to first change the seach "direction" from "Down" to "Up". This means that each time you need to click twice.
It would be much better if there was a Next and a Previous button on the Find and Replace dialog.

I agree with making the find/replace dialog dockable. Personally, I'd love a simpler, cleaner interface when you first search for something - something a little like Firefox's search bar at the bottom of the page.
