If my question has already been answered elsewhere on this forum, I do apologize, as I haven't found it !
How does one make Notepad++ save files in a given format by default, i.e., to save as a TXT file without having to always go to the save as dialouge or having to choose for each file ???
Thank You !

I'll second that inquiry request. I'd also like to know what the point of enabling "file-type" selection in the save dialog is when the file extension must be entered regardless of whether the specific file type, or "all files" is selected?

Hi
I have always in the save dialog the file extension "all files" selected.
How can I change "all files" on "txt".
Thanks,
Wobi
