I'm not sure about on Linux but I've tried running 5.0 on Wine 1.1.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.4 and I get a "_hSelf == NULL" , "God Damned Exception : 999" then recovery initiating when I try and run it. 4.9.2 runs nicely though.

Just thought I'd let people know.

  Thanx for this info. At least I know now wine works under Mac OS X.
  I'll try to get rid of it in v5.0.1
