I was getting an error when I opened the program and had to close. I don't know if maybe my antivirus deleted something.
So I tried to install notepad again, now when I try and open the program I don't get the error, just the error sound, and program won't even open at all.

  I uninstalled the program, then deleted the notepadd++ directory under c:\program files, then reinstalled.
