If i type <Script something here/> in a xml file, the syntax highlighting would not work for the next several lines under it. This bug seems to exist in all versions of cpp.

Agreed, I see this in an .xul file I have for a Firefox extension, I'd not tracked down why highlighting went missing, but now you've pointed it out it's obvious. i have a <script /> tag, the next xml tag is shown correctly, but all others show unhighlighted. If I change the script tag to <script></script> rather than <script /> highlighting works fine.
