I found Notepad++ much more useful than any text editor. Its really a great text editor.
Textpad has one option called Block Select mode, which allows us to select a file content columnwise. The selected text can even be copied and pasted as column. I want to ask if there is any option in Notepad++ for column select. I couldn't find any.
If there is no option for this, may I request the developers to introduce this feature in next version. I shall be very thankful.

This feature is available; you need to use "Alt" while selecting as it is alternative to normal selection.

The only problem with column paste I found is that the program hangs when the column is very long.
