This scales must be procesed whith relliability tests, R includes the cronbach alpha in the packages psy and psychometric. And I thing that this procedures will be useful in the RKWard package.
I don't know programation (I'm a sociologist), but if someone want help, I belive that I could be useful.

In social psycology and sociology is usual the use of attitude scales, an example is the Likert type, which is the most common.
