I'm trying to set the default "Save as" folder for Notepad++.
1. In it's desktop shortcut icon, I've set the "Start in" option to my desired folder.
2. Start notepad++.
3. When I create a new file in notepad++ and choose "save as", my folder appears.
4. Without exiting notepad++, start another new file.
5. When I try to save this new file, it always defaults back to notepad++'s installation directory.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks.

I just found the workaround after some more searching:
1. Settings - Preferences - MISC tab
2. Set "Remember the last operation directory"
I hope in a future release (I'm using 4.9.2), setting a "Save As" directory will be a more clear-cut option!
