I've run into a problem.
When I want to install a new package from a repository the "Become root" dialogue does not accept my password though it is indeed correct.

I'm on Ubuntu 7.04 Gnome

It's been a while since I last installed new packages (so I don't know how long this problem existed) but today.

  The problem was solved by an upgrade to ubuntu 8.04
