One thing that I would find very useful about the ctrl-g command would be if it trimmed the input.
I work in classic asp alot and when i testrun my page and get an error-message i doubleclick on the line in the errormessage and paste it in ctrl-g popup and hit return... only to have it fail because double-click, ctrl-c on html-page includes a blankspace at the end.
