    Hi,

I have tried jupload with Linux Fedora 8 which uses the Iced Tea Java implementation version 1.7
under Firefox 2.0.0.13. This does not seem to work.
Any ideas on how to get jupload to work with this Java release ?

    Cheers

    Terry

      Hi,

      On this page:
      http://iced-tea.org/wiki/FrequentlyAskedQuestions

      There is these sentences:

      • Support for signed applets is currently in an experimental stage, and not enabled by default.
      • There is current work being done to get liveconnect support into the browser plugin.

You'll need these two points to be corrected, before being able to use it with JUpload.

      Regards
      Etienne

        Hi,

        Thanks for the reply.
When I use the standard Fedora Firefox/Iced Tea setup accessing a page with the JUpload Java object
either on my website or the JUpload demo website, I just get the error message
"Start: applet not initialized." in the browsers status bar.
I am unsure of how to get any more meaning full debug out of it (There is no Java Console).

I have tried installing the Sun Java SE with its firefox plugin and that works fine.
The Firefox/Iced Tea Java setup appears to work with other Java sites Ok.

        Cheers

        Terry
