Yes, Notepad++ also has forum where you can ask questions (as you know and did) and find answers to them (as you probably not did). Best thing do is start looking for answer before asking (as many before you did).

position your cursor at one corner of the column then Alt+Shift+Click or Alt+Shift+Arrow Keys the other corner...
then you'll wanna type a letter to replace everything with... right click change capitals or Alt+C for column editor... also there are more things to do, i think...
just be careful of selecting thousands of lines and then say changing capitalization of inserting line numbers... cause it gets REALLY SLOW when you try to modify thousands of lines at once. don't know why.
